International Scholarships At Curtin University, Australia 2018



Curtin Business School is offering scholarship opportunities to Interested applicants who are looking to undergo a degree program at the Institution.
The MBA International Student Scholarship has been developed by Curtin Graduate School of Business to encourage and support students who have chosen to study the Master of Business Administration (MBA) as full-time students at Curtin Graduate School of Business (CGSB).

Application Deadline: 25th August 2018

Eligibility:
  • Applicants must be International students
  • Applicants must have completed their bachelors degree program
  • Applicants must be Applying to study the MBA at the Curtin Graduate School of Business
  • Applicants must have good academic records
Application Process:  All qualifying applications from international applicants for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Curtin University will be automatically assessed for the MBA International Scholarship. No separate scholarship application is required.
Applications will be assessed by an assessment panel using the following criteria:
  • Responses to questions in the MBA application form
  • Academic merit
  • Documentary evidence attached to the MBA application

2018 African MasterCard Foundation Scholarships At University Of Cape Town, South Africa

The Mastercard Foundation has partnered with the University of Cape Town (UCT) to provide 338 scholarships over 10 years to academically talented yet economically disadvantaged students from Sub-Saharan Africa for study at UCT.



Application Deadline: 31st August 2018
Eligible Countries: Sub-Saharan Africa
Type: Undergraduate & Postgraduate
Eligible Field Of Study: Commerce, Engineering and Built Environment, Health Sciences, Humanities, Law or Sciences
Eligibility:  In order to be considered for the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Cape Town, applicants must be:
  • Academically talented, must value learning and be driven to complete their education.
  • Economically disadvantaged and facing significant financial barriers to accessing education.
  • Committed to giving back to their own communities once studies are completed, to return to their home countries and take a leadership role in promoting social and economic improvement.
  • Citizens and residents of a Sub-Saharan African country.
  • Wanting to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level (Masters by research and coursework or research Masters, only). Honours applicants will be considered from 2016.
Application Process: To apply for The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, applicants must first apply to UCT for academic study and placement. Only applicants, who have applied for academic study and placement at UCT, can submit an application for a Mastercard Foundation scholarship.

Kas Media African Scholarships At University Of Witwatersrand, South Africa 2018

The University Of Witwatersrand, South Africa is offering the Kas Media African Scholarship Program to Interested applicants who are willing and ready to undergo a Bachelors or Postgraduate degree program at the Institution.


The scholarship includes the university fees, return flight to Johannesburg, accommodation costs for student housing and a monthly stipend.

Eligible Countries: Africa
Type: Undergraduate & Postgraduate
Eligibility:
  • Candidates should be under 30 years old, working as a journalist in a sub-Saharan African country and fluent in English.
  • For Honours, candidates must have at least three years’ working experience and either an undergraduate degree or pass an entrance test.
  • For Masters, candidates must have a degree equivalent to the BA Honours in Journalism (or related field) and at least three years’ working experience.
  • Candidates must work closely with KAS Media Africa during their stay in Johannesburg and write a bi-monthly narrative report on their study progress.
Application Process: Interested Applicants need to submit:
  • A one page motivation letter
  • A CV
  • Two examples of published work (article / broadcast piece)
  • Two letters of nomination/reference from a senior journalist, publisher or academic
